The Flesh Prevaileth!
After a two year hiatus, Satan's Daughters is back and better than ever!
And what a year it was! If someone would have told me when I had first started writing this blog, or during the first paragraphs of our manuscript, that I would not only fall pregnant, but I would share my child with a man who belongs to the Pentecostal faith, I would have laughed at them.
I can already picture Josephus laughing and needing to catch his breath if he had heard such a thing, during one of our weekly video calls. Adrian?! First of all, pregnant?! Pentecostal?!
Remembering the warmth of those video calls with Joe, and all of the knowledge I gained from him and the lessons I learned, almost brings a tear to my eye now, as I am sadly reminded that I may not ever get such a call with him again.
Two summers ago, Josephus suffered from a stroke, and was hospitalized. From my knowledge, this was not the first stroke he had endured, and being a man in his seventies, I knew it would be a while before he would be well enough to be able to sit at a computer and talk freely again, or create new rituals for me to try, or share his favorite tunes and stories about Gus Hardin.
While Joe recovered in the hospital, I was busy preparing myself to be a mother again, so while Satan's Daughters was never (and will never!) be stopped or abandoned, I did have to put my duties as high priestess on hold for the sake of focusing on my daughter and my family.
Today, my daughter is a year old, and sadly, Joe is still recovering from his stroke and rebuilding his strength and adjusting to his current life - which is all the more reason why Satan's Daughters must go on!
Over the past few months, I have been putting time aside each day to give Satan's Daughters a brand new look, I've uploaded the rest of The 7 Deadly Sins to the blog, and I have added more chapters to our manuscript. We are very fortunate (and grateful!) to have submissions from several high profile members in the community, and I appreciate their efforts and their time and expertise.
During my research and time spent making new connections, I happened to cross paths with a Satanist named Cody. Cody, like Josephus, also resides in the United States. Though Cody is just beginning his Satanic journey, he is a devoted, passionate and intelligent individual who stands his ground, speaks his mind and is firm in his beliefs. I know that Cody's journey down the left hand path will be a fruitful and successful one, with Satan's Daughters marching beside him. Cody's enthusiasm for Satanism and his respect for women is not only refreshing, but his attitude, spirit, and eagerness to learn and ask questions and seek out the truth for himself, serves as an incredible motivator for myself as well.
Hail Cody!
Until Josephus's health improves and he is able to lead us yet again, Cody will be assisting me with a variety of goals and projects within our group. With his help, I will be able to finish the manuscript sooner, have more time to spend writing for our blog, and I will be able to create more content and finally be active in our social media pages and groups, which will be up and running soon.
Hail Satan, Hail Satan's Daughters and last but not least, hail yourself!
