What an insane proverb, but sadly one of many, that the sheeple use. 

The only time pride is “bad” is when a foolish man or woman is so blinded by pride in transient accomplishment that they fail to look where they are going and they fall on their ass. So, fearful of "dangerous" pride, they take refuge in mewling, sheepish, humility. Like Uriah Heep, they are ever, ever so humble… What utter nonsense! Does an artist not take pride in a masterpiece? Does not an athlete take pride in a great feat of speed, agility, or strength? Does not a brilliant person take pride in a book they write or a business deal they pull off? Yes, in sheeple mythology, Satan was punished for the sin of pride. In fact, he was punished for intelligence and beauty by a God whose pride was offended.

The Satanist delights in pride! She is proud of herself, of her intelligence, of her sexuality, and her own courage and strength, and why shouldn’t she be? She is her own true and only God! If she has a lover, she is proud of him (or her, or them, as well!) for she knows their will and mind are as one with hers. If she has children, (provided the state or her enemies have not robbed her of them, the way Jen and Adrian’s were. It seems that being a proud, unabashed Satanist makes one "dangerous" and unfit” to the powers that be. Satan, crush those bastards!) she delights in their intelligence, their talents, their beauty, and their natural Satanism. If she chooses to get married, the Satanist welcomes the opportunity to have a Satanic wedding ceremony. If she chooses to have children, she delights in the joyous occasion and tradition of their Satanic baptisms!

The Satanist sets her mind on using all of her valuable skills, her Satanic beliefs and the inspiration and knowledge that she has found in the teachings of Anton LaVey and through the sisterhood and fellowship of Satan’s Daughters, and their precursors to transform into her best self. If it suits her and if she so chooses, she will have no qualms in openly, and proudly, proclaiming, " I am a Satanist! Bow down before me!” 

If more covert methods bring her victory, she takes pride in those as well, but she also understands that they can only be a temporary measure. The Satanist knows that in order to achieve self-fulfillment and gratification, she must eventually indulge in the most powerful and important task that a Satanist will ever have: She will proclaim her Satanism to the world, proudly and without shame! The Satanist knows that the meek shall not inherit the Earth, for the Earth belongs to Satanists!
