The 7 Deadly Sins: Lust
"... A reflection on the Christian seven deadly sins, and the physical, emotional, and mental gratification they bring to the modern Satanist woman of today."
You would probably be surprised to know that Satan's Daughters as it stands today originated from a series of writings on an email forwarding list. I happened to be one of the lucky recipient's of that list.
Shortly after our initial meeting, Josephus told me he was a writer. Being an author and a writer myself, nothing seemed more exciting than the opportunity to read his work on Satanism! So, I gave him my email address, and he forwarded me several of his writings. One of those pieces, and my favorite one, was called The 7 Deadly Sins, which is still fresh in my mind as of today because of the impact it had on me and how it influenced the direction that my life would take after. I knew that Josephus had not only given me a wonderful piece of writing, but a gift. This was more than just writings shared over email. There was something powerful behind each piece, and even if I was unsure of what that powerful force was yet, there was something about Josephus's writings on Satanism and his perspectives on it in general, that begged to be shared with the rest of the world, and something that I knew women like myself would be able to connect with and find value in... There was no way I could do his work the injustice of walking away, and never bringing it to the light of day or sharing it with the women of the world. His work and ideology has the power to shape the future of the world as we know it, and there is nothing I believe in as much or think is as worthwhile.
When I had met Josephus, I was going through a particularly dark and difficult part of my life with struggles that I felt like I was completely alone in. I felt like I was probably the only one in the world who was dealing with the hardships that I was, and it made me feel incredibly isolated, and alone. Surely, nobody knew how I was feeling or could relate to me, or so I had convinced myself anyway.
Until I read The 7 Deadly Sins and my life was forever changed.
I never would have expected that from any piece of writing (The Satanic Bible excluded, of course), much less one written by a man. Seemingly overnight, I went from feeling isolated, and alone in my struggles, to suddenly being surrounded by these wonderful, kind, strong and most importantly - Satanic - women, that were just like me, or they had been where I was, and I continue to be inspired by them every single day. You know who you are, Grace and Melissa. ;)
The sisterhood that I have found with these women and what I have learned from them and how they have helped me to realize what I am capable of, would not have been possible without Josephus, and I continue to interact with and meet amazing, strong Satanic women because of him, with those that have read his work sharing the same perspective as me.
It is a Sunday evening where I live, and just about midnight, which is when Satan is strong and powerful, at least he is when Josephus and I have our midnight meetings, readings and rituals, so starting today, I would like to dedicate this week to sharing one sin each day for the next week from Josephus's powerful The 7 Deadly Sins.
Wise and lovely ladies!
It is Sunday morning. Flocks of sheep, flocks which have begun to diminish in recent years, and which have almost disappeared in many countries, march off to their churches. Instead of carrying the weight of a thick coat of wool as they parade on all fours, these sheep clutch their Bibles and walk on two legs. When they arrive at these churches, they scurry and crowd into rows of hard and uncomfortable pews as far as the eye can see, a scene reminiscent of animals pushing and crowding into a barn, though a barn would be a much more peaceful alternative to what awaits them. With eager ears and guilty hearts, they hear banal and inane sermons, often from the mouths of hypocrites, or as they prefer to call them – priests, reverends, ministers or pastors. They do as they are told and open their Bibles to recite passages from a book of occasionally entertaining legends and half-truths. In Catholic churches, they take up a collection, much like a beggar standing on a corner with their cup outstretched, a silver plate is passed amongst the congregation until it weighs heavy and returns to the church. Often, there is a "special collection" for a bogus need or purpose. Usually, this “special” separate collection, is actually to defray the cost of lawsuits brought by the victims of the Catholic church, primarily men who had been abused by the pedophiles the holy Catholic Church shielded.
The same pedophiles who will shout their sermons to congregations in Catholic churches around the world on this Sunday morning. As a Shepherd commands his herd of sheep, so will the Catholic priest to his flock of what I like to call… Sheeple.
All hope is not lost! There are increasing numbers of intelligent men and women, the author of this meditation among them, who have long since given up on the self-deceptive rites of the Sheeple. Rather, we are the wolves. Whether this is your first Sunday morning spent away from your church, or perhaps you have never stepped foot in one, I need not know you to know that like myself, you don’t walk amongst the flock of Sheeple today. You have chosen to do much more delightful and profitable things this morning and all day long, and by opening up this book, have also opened up unlimited doors and opportunities for yourself. It is for you that I have decided to share a reflection on the Christian seven deadly sins, and the physical, emotional, and mental gratification they bring to the modern Satanist woman of today.
In the movie, Se7en, Kevin Spacey played a psychopathic Christian fanatic full of pent up rage, righteousness, and driven mad by theology, decides to visit his "God's" wrath on sinners, especially those who have committed the seven deadly sins. He is also included in these sinners. Thus, a greedy lawyer is fed molten gold, a fat glutton forced to eat himself to death, a lazy man chained to a bed until he wastes away. Pride is punished as well, and even fun-filled lust.
This crazed fanatic committed a basic fallacy. He confused indulgence in sin with compulsion. Almost all of his victims, including himself, were idiots, and they had committed the greatest sin of all: stupidity. All of their 'sins' had something in common; they were compulsive.
The true Satanist knows better. She knows, as wisely indulged in, and made part of a sane and healthy life, the seven deadly sins become lovely. They become indulgences.
Let us reflect on the part each plays in her life...
A dear Facebook friend of mine has written a book about the great female adult film stars called, "Golden Goddesses: The Women of Classic Erotic Cinema”. Her book is a celebration of women whose intelligence, personal strength, and unabashed sexuality, brought them fame and fortune, and inspired other women and men the world over.
All of these erotic stars, including the few who identify as women and something else, or perhaps nothing in between, have something in common with born again Christians. Both of these groups are, in fact. DeFacto Satanists. This book was written for women, so I will be using her/she pronouns in the following pages, but you may replace those pronouns with whatever suits you, as Satanism does not discriminate and is truly accepting of all.
The Satanist delights in lust! She reasons that there is nothing wrong with enjoying the body of an adult, consensual lover, whether that lover be male or female, neither or both. In fact, she knows that there is nothing wrong with an enjoying a temporary friend, engaging in casual sex, or choosing to earn an income from sex work, either. If she wishes, she even enjoys several partners at once. Variety is, after all, the spice of life. If she is left to her own devices, she does not hesitate to commit the so-called "sin of self abuse", or what a Pagan friend of mine could only describe as “taking care of business” when she and her husband are apart.
The Satanist lives in accordance with the Satanic Bible and teachings, though being intelligent, she does not need to be told or taught that animals and children are sacred, and therefore, must not be harmed. She does not abuse children or animals, or inflict emotional, physical, or mental pain and anguish without the consent of her sexual partners, lovers or friends.
When she performs a lust ritual as found in the The Satanic Bible, she spreads herself open with unashamed lewd emancipation, for her loins are aflame in anticipation of delights to come! Lilith, Hecate and The Great Harlot of Babylon light her path, not a false virgin or a moronic, sterile ideal of chastity… Though the Satanist also delights in chastity, if she so chooses. While she enjoys sexual freedom and liberation, and feels no shame or guilt in her sexual endeavors, nor should be, she also understands that her fellow Satanists may prefer a monogamous route to sexual fulfillment, or no sexual fulfillment at all. The Satanist does not concern herself with the affairs and lifestyle choices of others. She focuses on her own fulfillment and gratification!
Stayed tuned for tomorrow's update! Up next, I will be sharing the "sin" of greed, Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and as always, Hail Satan!
